Jeremiah Sampo grew up in a small town in the North Woods of Wisconsin, where he developed a strong sense of community and a deep appreciation for service. He spent nearly two years in Minneapolis attending North Central University, where he began engaging in meaningful outreach work with homeless and runaway youth, helping them navigate life transitions and reclaim stability. As an assistant leader at the Joshua House, Jeremiah helped provide a safe, supportive environment for young men working toward independence. These early experiences solidified his passion for working with organizations that empower others and give back to the community. In 2003, Jeremiah relocated to St. Louis, Missouri, where he quickly fell in love with the city’s vibrant culture, diverse communities, and broad spectrum of local businesses and entertainment. Over the years, he has gained experience in a variety of roles—including general laborer, small business owner, and department manager—each building on his adaptability, leadership, and commitment to hard work. In 2015, Jeremiah earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Missouri–St. Louis (UMSL), further strengthening his foundation in organizational operations and strategic thinking. In August 2020, he joined the St. Louis Area Foodbank as a Receiving Coordinator, contributing directly to regional hunger relief efforts. By 2025, he transitioned into his current role as a Purchasing Specialist at St. Charles Community College, continuing his service-minded career with a focus on efficiency, logistics, and team collaboration. Jeremiah brings a strong work ethic, organizational expertise, and a solutions-oriented mindset to every endeavor. He is passionate about learning, building relationships, and making a positive impact—both personally and professionally. He views every challenge as an opportunity to grow and believes that resilience and purpose are key to strengthening both the mind and body. His community driven mindset and culturally impactful experience is sure to add to Rustic’s Directoral Board.
